HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL ROUTES:
N1.1 Caves of "El Toll" and Museum. Visit to
the Caves of "El Toll" where it has been found important
prehistoric remains, and to the Museum of Moià where the main
finds (human, animal and vegetal remains, mainly from the Neolithic
period). 1 day, by car and on foot or MTB N1.2 Baroque of Sta. Maria d'Oló. Visit to the altarpiece of Oló and the church of Sant Joan d'Oló. 1/2 day, by car. N1.3 Route of Castles. Visit to the Sant Miquel's Castle in Castellterçol. There is the possibility of enlarging the route to other castles of the county: Granera's castle, Clarà's castle, Calders's castle, Castellçir's castle (La Popa's castle), ... 1/2 day, by car. N1.4 Discover the "iced-wells". We visit some of the most emblematic wells in the Moianès and we will explain how this pre-industrial activity so much spread around our county worked. 1/2 day, by car and on foot or MTB. N1.5 Baroque of Moià. Guided itinerary around the village of Moià, where we will show and explain the main components of Baroque and their peculiarities. 1/2 day, on foot. N1.6 Romanesque itinerary. Let us to visit some of the most important Romanesque hermitages in Moianès. Included the visit of Estany's Monastery. 1 day, by car. N1.7 Sant Cugat de Gavadons and Puigrodó. Itinerary that goes along a path among great sceneries and places. We will visit the Romanesque hermitage of Sant Cougat de Gavadons where it is possible to see a fantastic view of the Moianès; and Puigrodó, one of the highest beak of the county and where there is a dolmen in well conservation. 1/2 day, by car or by MTB.
N2.1 The life in a stream. See one of the streams of the Moianès that is still flowing clean water. There, we will observe the different animal and vegetal species that live in and we will learn to analyse the proprieties of the water. 1/2 day, on foot or by MTB. N2.2 Birds observation. Itinerary to introduce oneself to the fascinating world of birds' observation. To wear field glasses is recommended. 1/2 day, on foot or MTB. N2.3 Itinerary of nature. Itinerary along great places and sceneries that are little explored of Moianès, where we will observe and also tell you different aspects of the natural life (animals and plants) and geological life (stones, minerals, fountains...) that we will find along the way. 1/2 day, on foot or by MTB. N2.4 Medicinal plants. Excursions to discover different essences of medical plants and learn how can you use them. 1/2 day, on foot or by MTB. N2.5 Burnt wood. Itinerary through a burnt wood of Monistrol de Calders. We will observe how it is recovering itself after the fires in summer 1994. 1/2 day, on foot or by MTB.
N3. MIXED ITINERARIES -NATURALIST AND HISTORICAL-: N3.1 Route of GR3. Itinerary that passes through a passage of the big route of GR3 that goes from Solsona to Estany. Along the route it is possible to observe hermitages, dolmens, streams, pine groves, wood of oaks... 1 day, on foot or by MTB. N3.2 Esplugues and Fonts Calents. We can see the life of a stream, the house placed under a grotto (the grotto of Espluga) and the Oller's Mill. 1 day, by car and on foot. N3.3 Sauva Negra. Itinerary that lets us to see one of the few beech groves of the Moianès (the beech grove of Sauva Negra) and the Popa's castle in Castellcir . 1 day, by car and on foot. N3.4 Valley of Marfà. Itinerary through one of the most emblematic and beautiful places of the Moianès. 1 day, on foot or by MTB. N3.5 Monastery of Estany. Visit the Romanesque monastery of Santa Maria de l'Estany, the museum and the terrains taken by the old watertight and the drainage done to the Mine. 1/2 day, by car and on foot. N3.6 Sant Miquel del Fai. Visit the Sanctuary of Sant Miquel del Fai and a short route trough the Cliffs of Bertí. 1 day, by car and on foot. N3.7 Stream of Rubió. Itinerary that goes along one of the most preserved streams of the Moianès. We will enjoy ourselves observing the life of a stream, the surrounding huts and the water capture to make the mills work. 1/2 day, by car and on foot. |
